Stourport Forward is a philanthropic company, working to restore and preserve key aspects of Stourport-on-Severn’s rich history. Our volunteers provide guided walks, demonstrations, events and school visits in the canal basins.
In September 2023, Stourport Forward and our partners were successful in achieving Heritage Inland Port Status for the town, making Stourport-on-Severn one of only two towns nationally to be awarded this accolade.
In August 2024 Stourport Forward was awarded £249,014 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to roll out a variety of heritage- based community events, activities and projects from 2024-2027.
