Stourport Forward have worked with the “Twigs” department of the Emily Jordan Foundation to produce 10 model boats. These boats have been purchased by local organisations, businesses and schools and will now be decorated by them for display throughout August and September.
The general public will be able to vote for their favourite throughout these months, either online via our facebook page where you will find the link or on the following dates and times in the Tontine Gardens:
Tuesday 9th September 10am-1pm
Saturday 13th September 10am-4pm (Heritage Open Day)
Tuesday 16th September 10am-1pm
Tuesday 23rd September 10am-1pm
The winning organisation will receive a free boat trip on board Bramble for up to 12 people. We hope that this community art project will add some colour and life to the Tontine Gardens and give people more reasons to visit this quieter side of the town.
