Tina is originally from Worcestershire, but has lived in South Africa and Jersey in the Channel Islands. She has resided in Stourport for the last seven years and married with two grown up children and Nana to a gorgeous grandson.
She is a Nursing Sister by profession, having worked predominantly in Occupational Health as well as being a rugby field side medic for 35 years and most recently returning to practice to help out during Covid. Now officially retired from nursing, she runs her son’s rugby charity on a voluntary basis. She also runs her family air conditioning business with her husband for 15 years and managed a property portfolio, including serving as a Trustee on various Body Corporates. My final and favourite work experience has been managing many events in the beverage and hotel industries.
Health and safety, risk assessment and particularly Safeguarding, have been a major part of most of her roles. Nursing has required safeguarding experience for children and vulnerable adults and her many years on the side of the rugby field and involved in junior rugby at grassroots level has required experience in child safeguarding. Her current role running my son’s rugby charity brings her into contact with children and vulnerable adults through various projects that they support and safeguarding knowledge is essential.
