Our hotly anticipated Stourport Family and Audio Trail for Visually Impaired People are now ready to test. Please follow the instructions below to access the trails:
- Download the Places and Trails app – App Store and Google Play links available at at-creative.co.uk/places-and-trails-app.
- It’s best to download this at home or where you know WIFI is strong. Ensure you enable Location Services during installation
- On the Explore tab, select the ‘Being developed’ region
- Choose a trail
- Enter the password ‘brindley’ (all lower case, for both trails)
- Read the trail summary
- Press the ‘Start trail’ button
- Head to the start of the trail
- As you approach the first waypoint the audio should begin to play and audio controls will appear at the bottom of the map screen
- Tap the notification (or the map pin) to access the audio transcript and other content
- Continue the trail in the correct order
This is a free activity and we will be welcoming feedback from participants. We are aiming to fully install and unveil the finished trail in early December to tie in with our annual Grotto event.
