In August 2024 Stourport Forward was awarded £249,014 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to roll out a variety of heritage- based community events, activities and projects from 2024-2027.
Obtaining this grant has ensured that we can continue to be the mouthpiece for promoting heritage in Stourport in new and engaging ways.
The Navigate StourPort project has enabled us to explore additional initiatives and create an accessible and inclusive heritage programme to larger community audiences within the town and surrounding areas.
In doing so, we are safeguarding the heritage assets that Stourport Forward owns, leases and manages ensuring that they are used in creative ways through the Lottery’s guidance.
