Gill has a 2:1 Sports Management degree from Loughborough University and has over 15 years’ experience working in project management roles within the Wyre Forest area. During this time; she has managed various budgets, staff and volunteers and has worked with a variety of community groups where she has fostered good working relationships and connections with likeminded local organisations. Combined with this experience and skill set, Gill has always had a vested interest in history and is very passionate about the heritage of the town, championing all things local where possible!
Gill grew up in the Wyre Forest area from the age of 5 years old. She spent 5.5 years living away from the area overseas in Canada and then more locally in Cambridge before returning to Bewdley in 2016 where she now lives with her family.
Gill works alongside a Project Assistant, who are both part time in hours but full time in passion. They are very excited about the National Lottery Heritage Fund Project “Navigate StourPort” and putting Stourport’s unique history on the map with both locals and visitors alike.
